I've described Evie as dying her hair a shade too dark and hiding behind the shadows it gives her face. The makeover she's given by Jae is symbolic of her slowly coming into herself. She's average height, slim build with a smile that lights up her face and feels genuine. Her grey eyes are a feature she's inherited from her ancestor, along with the prophecy about fated love.
Despite living on a farm, Evie doesn't really like full hearty, roast dinners, she much prefers the taste of fresh raw salad with something quick to cook like steak.

A cross between gothic horror, folk stories and generational magic passed down through the years, the series has lost its lustre for her and she returns home to start a new project.
Gia ran off to America to research her series after acheving a multi book deal. For the last ten years she's travelled across america seeking out stories and magical pracitioners to learn from because she doesn't understand her own magic. When she thinks she finally knows her stuff, she learns that she didn't know who she was.

Gia loves food. For the last year she's been feeling more and more queasy around the smell of raw meat and has stopped eating it. She's at her happiest with a glass of wine in her hand and the swirl of music in the night around her.
